THe Beacon is drivable again...........nearly all new steering components in it now Rolling Eyes

Also, got the spotties on the roll bar wired up and working this arve cheers


Was going to come up for the Winch Challenge today, but had to get my Telstar ready for a Motorkhana & Khanacross tomorrow.

Got a couple of marks on the radiator, but no leaks Shocked
Still driving it round now.....waiting for the new one to arrive lol!

That radiator carnage might restrict a bit of flow Dave you better keep an eye on the temp gauge.

Easy to put coil mounts etc on them. Call Steve at QLD patrols and ask him if he has any old bent, coil housings (he will) I can pick them up and cut the mounts off / take all the measurements etc if you are interested.

Dave if you want the Nav engineered you can't change the wheel track measurement (I just thought of it) technically a GQ with GU diffs under it is illegal (shhh don't tell anyone lol! ) so get a figure/ measurement of the navs track and any diff substitution you do has to be the same width.

Maybe hilux diffs would be closer ?
If thats the case go for 60 series diffs heaps stronger but the same track as hilux. cheers

Already done Dan cheers The leak sprung Patrol diffs I have are only about 10 mm wider then my Nav rear diff cheers

I won't tell anyone about you having GU diffs under the GQ if you won't lol! lol!
