Hi all as most of you know we sold the beloved GQ last year and purchased a 4.8 litre petrol eating monster well not really you can hardly hear the bloody thing running.
Anyway it has come some distance thanks to Matty from Opposite Lock Rocky and the boys as well as ARB.

So far list of mods include
winch bar with magnum winch and spotties plus fog lights
rear step tow bar
snorkel
custom dual battery setup ( had to move washer bottle and A/C drier)
battery monitor
front and rear air lockers
compressor
UHF
custom stereo system , 2x amps, speakers , sub etc
outback roller drawers
stainless steel table for back door very handy for cooking and making sangas
60 litre engel on slide
full cargo barrier
2 inch lift with air bag rear end
twin long range tanks total 215 litres ( nearly get 1000 km's)
full length roof rack
foxwing awning and extension ( bloody good invention see Matty for one of these)
LTSS suspension seat for the pilot
9 inch dvd headrests with infra red headsets
canvas seat covers for the boys rear seats bloody good stuff see Matty for these as well
electronic and chemical rust proofing
285x70x17 inch mtz's
several underbody guards
sand grabber floor mats
currently in the process of having some side rails and steps made they are on but require some modifying but won't go into that right now.

Having just clocked about 8000 k's on the Gu and all is going well lets hope it stays that way.
Will post some pics shortly

Forot to say as you can see we also have an 2006 custom built Robust camper trailer. John from Robust wasn't happy with the first camper he built for us as it wasn't high enough, i did tell him but we won't go there so this one we raised 180mm over standard which gave us a significant gain in approach and departure angle which is just what i wanted. It has a 1900 kg parallel axel with electric brakes. With the extra height i was also able to put an extra water tank giving us a total of 165 litres plus 40 on the side in jerries if needed. With the help of the brother in law and the wife we fitted 2 x100 amp hour agm batts together with a 20 amp smart charger. Also fitted was some lighting and several 12 volt outlets 2 different types to cater for most usages.

Thats one kick arse set up there guys.

Nice GU that was going to be the next 4wd if we did not buy the pajero but the 3L diesel was not reliable enough and we could not afford a new one.
