Quick build up of my little rig:
When I first bought it:
2 inch suspension lift:
Cage:
Cage in car and custom rear bar:
Seats and harnesses:
New tyres (235/75/R15 buckshots):
New Barwork and chequer plate sills:
After that I put a 2 inch body kit in. I dont have any pics on my laptop of that though. following that the car broke down then caught fire which fried everything under the dash. So in went a new wiring loom and a new dash:
Again no pics of the dash installed that are any good, will get some more soon. So that is about where the car is at at the moment. It is mechanically better now than it has ever been before, and a quite a few wheelin trips have convinced me that a fair bit more work needs to be done.
Once the gemini is on the road this is going to come off and recieve a fair bit of attention. Planned mods:
6.5 transfer case gears
Transfer reinforcement
Cheap 33's (GT Adventuro's)
Moving the rear springs to the front
Custom spring packs in the rear
Changing shackle sizes to suit new springs
New shocks all round (inverted in the back)
Another UHF (up to my 3rd now, they just don't hack it)
Lift all the bar work to suit the body lift
Paint the chequer plate sills black (or remove and weld new sills in)
Slight guard trim and tube flares
Hopefully this will lower the car a little but more diff clearance, give a lot more flex, wider stance and a better ride.
