| Replaced the tie rod ends..........again, and removed the broken CV (leaving the outer part & stub axle so I can drive it) until my new complete axles for both side arrive. Top one is the new one, bottom is the bent one (bent both sides this time) Think I have worked out why I keep bending them, It's because I have the torsion bars wound up to high!!!!! So have lowered them, see what happens. | |

| Got the new front CV's/axles in, also replaced the bottom ball joints. The broken CV (passenger side) was a piece of cake to do, the other side fought me the whole way........GGRRRRRRR!!! Shiny new CV & axle...... Front hub & axle removed..... New bottom ball joint.... All back together again..... Broken CV & Stub shaft..... | |

| Mate, I can't fault them, better then the BFG muddies I used to have on it, & I reckon just as good as the MTZ's I run on my 'Trol. Have found them to be good in the mud, rocks, sand & have pretty good road manners.................well as good as this old truck has anyway I have had mine for about 18 mths now, & do a couple of hundred km's a week driving to & from work & still have well over half tread on them | |

| Thats what I like to hear then, I had a bit of a go today is some left over slop. I think they are pretty damn good and was suprised how quiet they are for the big spacings between the lugs. | |

| Time to replace the alternator....DOH!!! Got halfway into work Friday morning, went to put my foot on the brake & the pedal went rock hard (lucky there was hardly any traffic at 4:30 in the morning, could still use the brakes, but had to really stand on them). Anyway, while sussing it out yesterday morning checking for vacuum, could her a strange whirring/grinding noise. Worked out it was the alternator. And seeing as the vacuum pump is on the back of it, it wasn't creating any vacuum, hence rock hard brake pedal!!!!! | |
